Academy had to borrow £63,000 to cover costs

A local high school has filed its final annual report after joining an out-of-area multi-academy trust. 
The report revealed that Eaton Bank Academy, created on 1st September 2012 after leaving the local authority, had to borrow £63,000 to cover costs including salaries this year, and faced having to repay a total of £360,000 over three years had it not merged.
