Baited chicken mystery worries owners of pets

Biddulph’s dog owners are worried about the safety of their pets after numerous incidences of baited meat being left around the town to harm animals.
Pieces of chicken with metal press studs placed under the skin were reportedly found on the Halls Road playing fields near Brook Gardens last week. It is not known who is behind the incidents.
It is the latest in a string of finds of baited meat by local dog walkers, a problem that is believed to be ongoing since the summer.
