Biddulph High School
Biddulph High School students were celebrating some “fantastic” GCSE results on Thursday.
New examination specifications, which saw traditional grading systems from A*-F replaced with numbers between one and nine, made it a “challenging” year for the year 11 students.
Under the new guidelines, nine is equivalent to an A*, down to four for a C.
A total of 28 grade nines were achieved by Biddulph High students, with 330 of all examinations graded nine to six.
