Brown Edge carnival fun undampened by rain

A drizzly start didn’t dampen the spirits of revellers at Brown Edge carnival and well dressing, as they celebrated the annual event’s 75th anniversary.
People attending had the chance to watch this year’s fairytale-themed parade and well dressings, as well as enjoy a range of entertainment, from a knife-throwing display to a competition for the best carrot cake and the changing over of the carnival queens.
