Charity shop forced to close after burglars steal the till
The Red Cross charity shop on Well Street was unable to open last weekend after it was burgled.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place in the night between 30th November and 1st December. Burglars made off with two televisions and a cash register. The offenders have not yet been identified.
The Red Cross has around 340 shops across the country, which are largely run by volunteers. It raises money for people around the world who are experiencing a crisis.
