Dyeworks will still be houses, says agent
The owner of Biddulph’s old dyeworks site still has “every intention” of developing the land for housing, a planning agent has insisted.
The site, which is just off Congleton Road, has been the subject of discussion in recent months because of a large pile of fly-tipped industrial waste that has been left there untouched for several years.
In 2015, planning permission was granted to Renew Land Developments, subject to dozens of conditions, to redevelop the dyeworks into 19 new homes, although this work never appeared to get underway.
