Fit four hope to muscle in on new world record
A local fitness centre will attempt to set a Guinness world record for the longest continuous “circuit-athon”, in aid of a mental health charity.
Daman Rhodes, (45), of Basefit Training in Knypersley, plans to do 12 hours of continuous circuit training along with three friends, Beth Eardley, Karen Dale and Craig Coleman. He said that everyone was welcome to drop in and join them for however long they like.
Mr Rhodes set the goal to “get people talking” about their mental health and to raise money for the mental health charity Mind. His fundraising target is £1,000.
