Flood expert inspects scene of deluge to prevent a repeat

Plans to ensure that flooding is not repeated are underway, after properties were left under 13 inches of water following heavy rain during the summer.
An inspection of the drains feeding into Station Road, Biddulph, has been completed by a flood risk senior adviser with the Environment Agency, who was accompanied by flood risk senior adviser David Brown by town and district Coun Nigel Yates.
