Grass cutting service could be sharpened up
Biddulph’s “shambolic” grass cutting system could be changed after councillors said they had been inundated with complaints.
Members of Biddulph Town Council’s Finance Strategy and Man-
agement Committee discussed potential ways to simplify the town’s grass cutting service at a meeting last Tuesday, with the hope of having all of the work overseen by a single authority.
Grass cutting responsibilities in Biddulph are currently split between local authorities like the town council, Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and Staffordshire County Council, as well as property groups such as Your Housing and volunteer groups like Biddulph In Bloom.
