‘Inadequate and dangerous’ conditions at housing estate
Residents living on Biddulph’s Uplands Mill estate are still having to put up with “dangerous” and “inadequate” conditions due to incomplete work by Bovis Homes, councillors have said.
The property developer has again apologised for the delays after Coun Jim Garvey shared his concerns about the site at a meeting of Biddulph Town Council’s Planning Committee last Tuesday.
Discussing the site’s current condition, he described unemptied bins, unfinished paths, and a range of safety concerns on the 200-home estate.
