Labour candidate says the ‘Moorlands deserve better’
The Labour candidate for Staffordshire Moor-lands at next month’s general election has been announced and he believes the constituency, which has been represented by Conserv-ative Karen Bradley, “deserves better”.
Coun Darren Price, who represents Leek East on the district council, has been backed by his Labour colleagues in Biddulph, although the town’s Conservatives are sure Mrs Bradley will succeed in continuing her almost 10-year stint as the Moorlands’ MP. The seat was previously held by Labour.
