Leisure centre visits fell by 2,500 last year
A decrease in visitor numbers at Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre last year occurred as a result of pool closures.
The annual leisure centre service report for 2018, presented at a meeting of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council’s Service Delivery Overview and Scrutiny Panel last Wednesday, detailed the performance of the district’s three leisure centres.
A breakdown of visitor numbers found that Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre visitor numbers had dropped from 315,898 in 2017 to 313,396 in 2018, a fall of 2,502.
