MP’s hospital question to prime minister is criticised

Biddulph’s member of the Save Leek Hospital Action Group has branded Karen Bradley’s comments on the campaign “an insult to people in the Moorlands” after the local MP asked the prime minister for his support.
Mrs Bradley mentioned the threats faced by Leek Moorlands Hospital at prime minister’s ques-
tions on Wednesday, when she asked Boris Johnson to back her hopes of keeping the hospital open.
But Labour’s Biddulph East town and district Coun Jill Salt, who was chosen as the area’s representative on the Action Group, felt that the Conservative MP for Staffordshire Moorlands was undeservedly taking credit for the Save Leek Hospital campaign.
