Making brass from muck: waste company profits up
The company that collects Biddulph’s ref-use has reported a rise in profits.
Alliance Environmental Services’ report for the year ended 31st March said it had “performed strongly” in its second year of trading, recording an £88,000 profit, up from £38,000 in 2018.
Waste contract manag-ement, fleet efficiencies and additional fleet maintenance had all contributed to the increase, the company said.
Alliance was incorporated on May 2017 and started trading on 7th August 2017, following the transfer of employees from Veolia and High Peak Borough Council.
