Memorial fund for CRY raises £4k in a year
A memorial fund set up in the name of a teenager who suffered a fatal heart attack has raised more than £4,000 for a heart-screening charity.
The Jordan Burndred Memorial Fund was selected as charity of the year at Sainsbury’s in Biddulph and was raising funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Jordan Burndred died in Turkey in 2015 at the age of 17 after suffering a heart attack on holiday.
