More housing needed due to a ‘very high’ shortfall
A new strategy hopes to deliver a five year supply of housing in the Moorlands, following the inspection of the local plan.
The draft Housing Implementation Strategy was presented to Staffordshire Moorlands District councillors at a meeting of the Service Delivery Overview and Scrutiny Panel last Wednesday.
It sets out the types of housing required and the timescales that they will be delivered on, based on the housing growth that was set out in the authority’s local plan, the long-term planning blueprint for the Moorlands that sets housing and employment development.
