Pigs run amok among floral grave tributes
The spectre of pigs running amok in Congleton Cemetery has caused concern for families whose relatives are buried there after photographs surfaced showing the hogs with their snouts in freshly laid flowers.
The incident came to light on social media when someone posted pictures of the small pigs scurrying around St Peter’s churchyard and graves.
The caption accomp-anying the pictures said: “Again, second time this week, these little pigs are running around St Peter’s courtyard and eating the plants on the graves. Could somebody please mend their fences so they can’t escape again?”
