Population exodus down to lack of Moorlands homes

A lack of new homes being built in the Moorlands has led to an unusual decline in the local population, a council report has stated.
In 2018, the district’s population “declined for the first time in many years”, according to a report discussed at a meeting of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council’s Service Del-ivery Overview and Scrutiny Panel last Wednesday.
