Retrospective planning – don’t risk demolition
Councillors have issued a warning over planning applications in Biddulph, after a number of retrospective submissions were made after the completion of building work.
Coun Ian Lawson believes that the issue is becoming increasingly common.
He warned potential builders that if building inspectors deem the work to be substandard, then the council would order the structure to be demolished.
