Return of ethical fair could help boost market funding
Biddulph’s ethical fair is expected to make a return following a positive response to the town’s first event of its kind.
Discussions also took place to use the fair as a means of increasing Biddulph’s share of market funding from Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
The inaugural fair, organised by Biddulph town councillor Charlotte Smith, was held in October and promoted all things fair-trade, environmentally friendly and vegan.
It included stalls selling ethical products of all descriptions, from Indian street food to upcycled gifts and vegan cheese.
