‘Rural area needs hospital beds that aren’t a million miles away’

Clinical commissioning groups have “no real insight” into local people’s needs for the future of health services, councillors have said.
It follows a meeting of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council’s Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel last Wednesday, when members were asked for their feedback on proposed options for a community hospital and bed locations in the area.
