Safety and leadership at care home must improve
A local care home has been rated as requires improvement by a health watchdog.
Inspectors from the Care Quality Comm-ission visited Tall Oaks Care Home, Charles Street, Biddulph, in an unannounced inspection on 22nd October. They found that while the service was good for effectiveness, level of care and responsiveness, it requires improvement for safety and leadership.
The report stressed the inspection found no evidence that people had been harmed, but Tall Oaks’ systems were either not in place or robust enough to demonstrate medicines were always safely managed. This placed people at risk of harm, said the report.
