‘Too many empty properties have been forgotten’

Councillors are prepared to “exert the maximum pressure” to reduce the number of “empty, derelict and seemingly forgotten” properties in Biddulph.
A new proposal put forward by local town and district Coun Nigel Yates could put Staffordshire Moorlands District Council under more pressure to release the latest figures for empty properties, as town councillors hope to solve the problem of derelict buildings.
