Voluntary transport goes independent

A local voluntary transport scheme is now running independently following county council funding cuts, but passengers have been reassured that they “won’t notice any difference”.
The transport scheme, which has an office on Tunstall Road, Biddulph, was previously operated by Support Staffordshire and aided by funding from Staffordshire County Council, but has now become independent and rebranded as Moorlands Voluntary Community Transport.
