40 new jobs when Aldi arrives
Around 40 jobs will be created when Aldi moves in to Biddulph.
Council bosses at County Hall, Stafford, confirmed this week that the supermarket would open a branch at the former Meadows School site, ending months, if not years, of rumour and speculation.
George Brown, regional property director for Aldi, said: “We are delighted to be selected by Staffordshire County Council to invest in Biddulph, feeding into the wider transformation of this area.
