Developer donates for new tennis nets

Congleton High School’s tennis courts have netted an upgrade, thanks to a donation from Stewart Milne Homes.
The developer has donated £750 to cover the cost of replacing the 12-year-old tennis nets, used by the school’s 1,200 pupils as well as members of the local community in the evenings and at weekends.
Head of PE Greg de Souza said: “The tennis courts desperately had to be updated after 12 years of wear and tear, and we are very grateful for the generous donation from Stewart Milne Homes that has enabled us to buy new tennis nets, restoring the courts to prime condition.
