HS2 hub consultation
People can have their say on plans for the HS2 hub coming to Crewe railway station in eight years’ time.
Cheshire East Council has drawn up a draft scheme and it wants the community and local businesses to comment so that the development “reflects the ambitions of the local area”.
Council leader Coun Rachel Bailey said: “I’m excited at the potential and opportunities that HS2 will bring to Cheshire East from 2027. While eight years seems like a long way off, we need to be prepared and plan now to deliver the best outcome for our residents, communities and businesses.
