A new non-executive director has been appointed at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
Tim Shercliff has a background in the information technology sector, where he held executive management roles at IBM, before setting up his own business in 2005, specialising in strategy and transformation.
He was a visiting fellow at Manchester Business School in 2009-2012 and has helped establish and run three social enterprises, two of them in Macclesfield.
East Cheshire NHS Trust runs Congleton, Macclesfield and Knutsford hospitals along with a range of community healthcare services.
Mr Shercliff commented: “I am delighted to be joining the East Cheshire NHS Trust board and look forward to helping them meet the challenges ahead. I am keen to support our local NHS and continue my involvement in activities that improve the local community.”
Mr Shercliff has been appointed until 18th August, 2021.
He declared no political affiliation and will receive a remuneration of £6,157 per annum.
