Theatre welcomes new trustees
High Peak Theatre Trust has made several new additions to its board of trustees. The new board members will be bringing their skills and expertise to Buxton Opera House.
Roddie MacLean is well-known in the High Peak area, having been a director at Buxton Town Team and chair at Vision Buxton. He has knowledge of heritage projects from his years of experience as a chartered architect.
Angela Philips has extensive experience in finance at a senior board level. She was director of finance at the University of Bradford and has also worked extensively in the NHS.
Nicholas Jeffrey’s executive career began in Buxton and he has particular expertise in the retail and commercial sectors.
Keith Savage will act as a representative for High Peak borough council. He has been part of the cultural landscape in Buxton for many years. From being the chair of Buxton Festival Fringe to his work with Buxton Film, his name is synonymous with the arts in the High Peak area.
