£38,000 profit for refuse collection partnership

A joint venture between three councils for refuse collection has made a £38,000 profit in its first year.
Alliance Environmental Services was incorporated on 9th May 2017 and started trading on 7th August 2017, following the transfer of employees from Veolia and High Peak borough council to Alliance. It was formed with Ansa, Cheshire East Council’s arm’s length company that collects waste does other work, and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
