Age UK burglary: police issue plea for information
A charity whose shop was targeted by burglars has repeated its plea for anyone with information to contact the police.
The AgeUK shop on High Street was forced to close after burglars broke in and flooded the premises after ripping the sink from a wall, causing thousands of pounds of damage.
Tina Rush, manager of the Age UK premises on High Street, told the Chronicle last week that she was “sick to the “stomach” after the break-in during the early hours of last Tuesday (28th November).
