Air quality data inquiry comes to a dead end
A council investigation has been forced to admit it could not get to the bottom of fraudulent air quality data.
Cheshire East Council was forced to apologise last year after serious errors were made in air quality readings from 2012 to 2014.
Independent body Bureau Veritas UK reviewed the council air quality activities from 2011 to 2015 and found evidence of “obvious manipulation” of data in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
