Anger as church torn down without approval
A company in the early stages of demolishing a former town centre church has claimed it was told by the council that it could be taken down.
There has been widespread concern about the ongoing demolition of Kinsey Street Methodist Church.
Clare Blake submitted the application on behalf of North Rode Timber and said “Building control told us to take it down, so there has been no formal planning permission written.”
