Art competition for young to get their message across
Young artists from Congleton are being offered the chance to win £5,000 as part of a project to encourage and support young people to “be a force for good”.
The Shiva Trust, a charity which aims to better the health and wellbeing of society, has invited 13-30 year olds to submit digital art such as music and films with a chance of winning £5,000.
Trustee John Dhali, of Buglawton, said: “It’s a really cool competition. It’s to support young people in society. It’s a new project so to kick-start it we have set up this competition to encourage and support young people to have a voice and deliver a special message to say what they really want to say through the arts and their creativity.
