Asbestos did not ‘directly’ cause ex-joiner’s death

A man’s previous contact with asbestos did not directly contribute to his death, an inquest heard.
Ernest Ian Booth lived with his wife at Booth Bed Lane, Goostrey, where he died in March this year, aged 86 from cor pulmonale, a type of heart failure brought on by lung diseases.
