Beware fake news about 5G, warns health body
Residents have been warned not to base their views on “fake news and social media echo chambers” after a well-known local entrepre-neur claimed the rollout of 5G technology would be “like the Government dropping a nuclear bomb on us”.
The Government recently launched a consultation asking residents around the country for their views on proposed changes to planning regulations aimed at supporting the rollout of the technology nationwide.
However, Congleton entrepreneur and philant-hropist Dawn Gibbins has urged people to respond to the consultation by objecting to the technology, labelling 5G “a silent killer”.
