Biker recounts horror of crash
A motorcyclist has recounted the crash that has left him facing up to six months of recovery, but said he has been “overwhelmed” with the level of support given to him.
Samuel Phillips, (24), of Fern Crescent, Congleton, told the Chronicle his back and neck injuries will leave him off work for months.
The incident occurred shortly before 9.30am on Wednesday, 16th October, when Mr Phillips was riding his Hyosung GT125R motorbike on Buxton Road in Congleton.
Mr Phillips said: “I was driving down Buxton Road and there was a car pulling out of St John’s Road. The driver flashed me to carry on going.
