Bosley care home plan rejected again
Plans for a care home in Bosley have been turned down for a second time after Cheshire East Council’s Planning Board said the location was unsustainable.
The application, which was first rejected last year, was to turn a former warehouse into a 55-bed care home at Lol Farm, on Buxton Road, Bosley.
The proposal also received objections from local residents.
Newlife Community Partnership resubmitted its plans, which were refused for a second time on Thursday.
The conversion of the existing building was said, in a design and access statement, to “form a residential institution providing a short-term care facility.
