Charity’s reminder about not misleading the public
The Charities Commi-ssion has reaffirmed its stance that a popular farm where children can go and see the animals is not a registered charity.
Leo Deen runs Key Green Farm, on Pedley Lane, Timbersbrook, near Congleton.
The Charities Commission confirmed to the Chronicle that the premises, which has been running for 17 years, was not registered.
Mr Deen previously told the Chronicle that he could not have a registered charity number or charitable status because his turnover is less than £5,000 a year.
