Cyclist assault case adjourned
Nathan Banks, (39), of 32, St Giles Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, has had charges involving a cyclist adjourned.
Banks is charged that on 23rd January in Congleton he assaulted Peter Akers Smith, that he damaged cycling equipment to the value of £400 belonging to Mr Akers Smith and that he drove a Volvo articulated lorry on Newcastle Road without due care and attention.
He was not in court at Cheshire Magistrates’ Court, sitting at Crewe on 19th July, so entered no pleas. The case was adjourned until 2nd August for him to enter a plea.
