Drink-driving in cemetery charge
A 24-year-old has been remanded on unconditional bail until 15th August after pleading not guilty to a drink-driving charge.
Charles Joseph Edward Hall, of Flat 4, 3, Daneside Close, Congleton, is charged that on 19th June he drove a Ford Fiesta in Macclesfield Cemetery, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, 55mcgms of alcohol in 100mls, exceeded the legal limit of 35mcgms.
Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court, sitting at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on 9th July, adjourned the charge for a case management hearing.
