‘Good’ Ofsted rating for college with nearly 10,000 students
A college with a total faculty of nearly 10,000 students has been rated “good” by Ofsted.
In its first inspection, Cheshire College South and West was rated as good for its effectiveness, quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, education programmes for young people, adult learning programmes and apprenticeships.
Its provision for learners with high needs was rated as requires improvement.
The college was formed following a merger between Crewe’s South Cheshire College and West Cheshire College in March 2017.
