‘Hordes’ of fans urged to turn out for Bears v City of Liverpool game

Anyone who fancies goals galore and an exciting atmosphere has been urged to turn out and support Congleton Town’s game on Saturday.
High-flying Town, who are having one of their best seasons in living memory, play Hallmark Security Premier League leaders City of Liverpool at the weekend, a “massive” game at this level of non-league football, said Congleton Town’s Mike McLaughlin, and a test of the Bears’ credentials.
Mr McLaughlin said: “City of Liverpool will bring a horde of fervent, passionate supporters to sweep them to an inevitable victory.
