‘Huge disappointment’ over badger cull review stance

Local wildlife campa-igners have expressed “huge disappointment” at the “limitations” of the bovine TB strategy review led by Sir Charles Godfray, which publ-ished its findings last week.
While welcoming Sir Charles’s recommen-dations for a changed emphasis in the Govern-ment’s strategy for eradi-cating bovine tuberculosis (bTB), Cheshire Wildlife Trust said it was “extremely concerned” that he also recommended that badger culling should continue.
