Inquest into man’s death in hospital adjourned
An inquest into the death of a 56-year-old Congleton man was adjourned on Monday, after a coroner said that the court did “not have the information we should have” to conclude.
Matthew John Waby, of Moston Court, Congleton, died at Royal Stoke University Hospital on Christmas Day. He had suffered several alcohol-related falls before he died, although the medical cause of death could not be established by the coroner’s court sitting at Macclesfield as sufficient evidence was not brought forward.
The case was adjourned to a later, unspecified date.
