Lidl’s big plans to open across east Cheshire
Discount supermarket chain Lidl has announced new plans to expand across East Cheshire and North Staffordshire.
According to a brochure issued by the retailer, it is looking into opening new sites in Alsager, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Macclesfield, Poynton and Biddulph.
Lidl has highlighted 53 locations in total across this region (made up of Cheshire East, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and Nottingh-amshire). Hundreds of jobs are expected to be created if the plans are to go ahead.
