MP has not given up on museum’s plan to move

Talks aimed at helping to progress Congleton Museum’s search for a new home could take place between museum officials, the local MP, Cheshire East Council’s leader and representatives from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
It follows the council’s decision to market the historic Bradshaw House for commercial use after rejecting the museum’s application to move to the Grade Two-listed building on Lawton Street.
