MP is ‘deeply troubled’ by ‘porn block’ decision

Congleton’s MP has described the Government’s plans to drop age verification for pornographic content online as “deeply troubling”.
Fiona Bruce MP has been an advocate of the so-called “porn block”, which aimed to prevent children from being able to view the content through a controversial age verification system that has been in development.
The plans were first promised in the Conservative Party’s 2015 election manifesto, but it has faced many delays having been planned for introduction in April last year.
