Ofsted praises improved social care for children
Cheshire East Council has been praised by two Government inspectors over improvements to its children’s social care service.
Cheshire East local authority children’s services were last inspected by Ofsted in July 2015, when the local authority was judged as requiring improvement to be good, with the adoption service judged to be good.
Since the last inspection, Ofsted said that senior leaders had ensured that children “increasingly benefited from a strengthened focus on permanence planning”.
