Outdoor festivals called off because of flooding

Severe weather conditions in Cheshire  led to the cancellation of several events in the county, including the perennially popular Rewind North Festival and the Glebe Farm Supercar show, which was due to raise money for Ruby’s Fund.
Last Monday, the Met Office issued a flood warning, following a weekend of almost constant rain. Soon after, it recorded half a month’s rainfall within 24 hours.
